Job summary

Core States Group is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to lead design and management of mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion. You will oversee HVAC, plumbing/piping, refrigeration, fire protection, and fuel systems, coordinating with engineers, architects, and construction managers.

You will produce mechanical construction documents, ensure code compliance, and guide teams through all project phases, including client relations and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• PE License is required.
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD and MS Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects and clients with schedules, budgets, and quality.
• Lead client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and negotiate proposals and contracts with clients and sub-consultants.
• Manage project plans, staffing, budgets, schedules and execution.
• Provide guidance on constructability, code compliance, and system coordination.
• Oversee project profitability, efficiency, and metrics.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders across all phases.
• Review documents for QA/QC.
• Identify risks and proactive resolutions.
• Mentor Project Engineers and Designers.
• Support business development and growth opportunities.
