Job summary

Core States Group is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to lead and manage mechanical design projects from conception to completion. The role focuses on HVAC, plumbing/piping, refrigeration, fire protection, and fuel systems, working with a team of Site/Civil, Electrical, Structural Engineers and Architects.

You will produce mechanical construction documents aligned with client requirements, codes, and site specifics while coordinating with a broad project team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required.
• PE License required.
• Experience with building mechanical design production and coordination of multi-discipline teams is expected.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits and generate reports/recommendations.
• Produce design plans, calculations, and reports.
• Coordinate with subconsultants and manage budgets and schedules.
• Schedule production staff and coordinate with addendums, RFIs, and change orders.
• Assist in coordinating multi-disciplined design teams through development and contract phases.
• Other related responsibilities as necessary.
