Job summary

Core States Group is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to lead mechanical design from concept through construction for our Architecture and Engineering team. You will apply expertise in HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, fire protection, and fuel systems, coordinating with subconsultants and project managers to deliver compliant, on-time solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required.
• PE License required.
• Experience in general building mechanical design production, preferably for commercial projects.
• Proficiency in Revit and MS Office; AutoCAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform site visits and generate reports with recommendations.
• Create design plans, calculations and reports with limited direction.
• Coordinate with subconsultants and manage budgets and schedules for project phases.
• Schedule and guide production staff through tasks; assist with addenda, RFIs and change orders.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary design development through contract documents.
