Job summary

Core States Group is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager for its Architecture and Engineering unit. You will design and manage mechanical projects from concept to completion, coordinating HVAC, piping, refrigeration, fire protection, and fuel systems with cross-functional teams.

You will oversee construction documents, client relationships, proposals, and contracts, ensuring adherence to codes and project requirements while guiding staff and contributing to business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required.
• 8+ years of experience in general building mechanical design production for commercial projects.
• PE license required; Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and MS Office is expected.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects and client relationships with quality, schedule, and budget in mind.
• Lead coordination with multi-disciplinary teams including site, electrical, structural, and architectural staff.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, and manage staffing, resources, and project execution.
• Provide guidance on constructability, code compliance, and system coordination.
• Oversee project financials, forecasting, and related metrics.
• Mentor Project Engineers and Engineering Designers; support business development efforts.
