Job summary

Core States Group is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to design and manage mechanical engineering projects from conception through construction. You will apply your expertise in HVAC, plumbing/piping, refrigeration, fire protection, and fuel systems while coordinating with civil, electrical, structural engineers, architects and construction PMs.

You will produce mechanical construction documents meeting client requirements and code requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in general building mechanical design production for commercial projects.
• PE license is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Produce mechanical construction documents in line with codes and site requirements.
• Coordinate with subconsultants and multi-disciplinary team including site/civil/electrical/structural engineers and PMs.
• Lead production staff and manage budgets/schedules.
