Job summary

The Sack Company seeks a Mechanical Project Manager to lead sheet metal and HVAC projects in commercial and industrial settings, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality.

You will coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, mentor project teams, conduct site visits, review contracts and change orders, and manage risk while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent mix of education and field experience.
• Minimum 10 years in project management for sheet metal and HVAC in commercial/industrial construction.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage mechanical projects focusing on sheet metal and HVAC systems in commercial and industrial buildings.
• Develop and oversee project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client expectations.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Supervise and mentor project team members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
• Prepare and review project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, addressing issues promptly and effectively.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards, codes, and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among all project stakeholders.
