Job summary

Environmental Air Systems is seeking a Project Manager for comprehensive management of mechanical, piping and plumbing projects from planning through installation. You will develop specifications and bid proposals, coordinate with vendors, and ensure compliance with codes and regulations.

You will lead meetings, transition from estimating to execution, apply value engineering, monitor costs, and deliver projects on time and within budget while maintaining safety standards and quality.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Significant experience in HVAC, piping and/or plumbing may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work with vendors and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate kick-off meetings.
• Coordinate shop drawings.
• Transition from estimating to project management.
• Apply value engineering to reduce costs.
• Monitor project costs and schedules.
• Purchase equipment and materials and ensure timely delivery.
• Oversee submittals and invoices for payment.
• Ensure as-builts are completed accurately.
