Job summary

Atlantic Constructors is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to oversee planning and delivery of our mechanical and HVAC/sheet metal operations on commercial construction projects, including air distribution, ductwork fabrication, and equipment installation.

You will coordinate with pre-construction, sales, safety, estimating, CAD/BIM, and vendors, review drawings, manage schedules and budgets, and lead subcontractor coordination to ensure on-time, within-budget performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is required.
• 3+ years of project management experience on commercial mechanical/HVAC projects or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, codes, air distribution, fabrication and installation practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with internal project teams, customers, subcontractors and vendors.
• Develop and manage mechanical project schedules and major equipment delivery timelines.
• Review and approve mechanical equipment submittals (AHUs, RTUs, chillers, boilers, pumps, VAV boxes, VRF systems).
• Scope vendor quotes and procure mechanical materials and subcontractor services.
• Oversee safety procedures, on-site quality control and adherence to plumbing code requirements.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, revenue forecasts, and cash flow analyses.
