Job summary

Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead high‑scope projects from initiation to completion. You will act as the primary client contact, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure projects meet budget, schedule, and quality standards.

The role requires a technical degree with extensive project management experience and a strong ability to mentor junior staff while maintaining client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Technical or Bachelor’s degree in one of the major technical disciplines with ten years of related project experience OR
• Fifteen years of practical experience on similar projects
• Proven leadership as a trusted advisor to clients
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects of various size and complexity
• Expertise in proactively managing project financials with minimal oversight
• ABET-accredited degree in engineering preferred (licensed)

Responsibilities

• Lead high‑scope, high‑complexity projects or multiple programs as primary client contact and trusted advisor.
• Plan, execute, and mentor on project delivery ensuring SSR quality standards.
• Develop staffing plans, budgets, and schedules; manage risks and communications.
• Coordinate proposals, interviews, and client meetings; ensure contract obligations.
• Build and grow client relationships and contribute to business development.
