Job summary

Osborn Engineering in Cleveland, OH, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer with healthcare design experience to lead multi-discipline projects and ensure client needs are met. You will manage project scope, schedule and technical deliverables, perform HVAC and plumbing design calculations, and oversee shop drawings, RFIs and closeouts.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Mechanical Engineering, 10+ years of design experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit; PE is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering required; PE desirable.
• 10+ years of mechanical design experience, healthcare preferred.
• Experience in HVAC and plumbing design.

Responsibilities

• Multi-discipline project management, design and deliverable execution.
• Client and Junior Staff Management.
• Project due dates and time management.
• HVAC and plumbing calculations.
• Building load analysis via Trane Trace or Carrier HAP.
• Building/equipment and program assessment.
• Project specification development and equipment selection.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Shop drawing review, RFIs and project closeouts.
