Job summary

Pretium Engineering seeks a Senior Project Manager – Mechanical to lead HVAC, plumbing and fire protection design for municipal, commercial, residential and industrial projects. You will manage investigations, drawings, tendering, and construction administration with minimal supervision.

You will coordinate with electrical and structural teams, review deliverables for accuracy, mentor staff, and drive project profitability while maintaining schedules and budgets in a dynamic, growth-oriented

Qualifications

• Excellent technical writing skills and concise reporting.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication with clients and teams.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel; experience with design software is a plus.
• AutoCAD, Revit and Bluebeam experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design of HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection systems for various buildings.
• Manage project investigations, reporting, drawings, tendering, and construction administration.
• Coordinate with electrical, structural, and building envelope disciplines.
• Maintain knowledge of codes and standards; ensure deliverables meet client requirements.
• Support sustainable design initiatives and emerging technologies.
