Job summary

PM Design, Inc. seeks a Senior Mechanical Designer to lead complex building systems projects across retail, commercial, and hospitality sectors. You will design HVAC and plumbing layouts, perform energy calculations, and develop accurate drawings in Revit and AutoCAD.

The role requires PE licensure, a Mechanical Engineering degree, and strong leadership with multi-project management ability. You will mentor junior staff and collaborate with project teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• PE licensed.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven mechanical design experience for building systems.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD; familiarity with ASHRAE codes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project leadership to develop and execute plans.
• Design HVAC and plumbing systems, including energy calculations.
• Document designs in Revit/AutoCAD and prepare scope, concepts, and cost estimates.
• Conduct site visits, gather field data, and prepare reports.
• Direct and mentor staff and consultants preparing drawings and specifications.
• Review project status, budgets, and address risks.
