Harder Mechanical is seeking a Project Manager to lead the mechanical scope on a large-scale data center project in rural Texas. You will guide planning, execution, and client relationships from preconstruction through turnover, working with multi-disciplinary teams to meet safety, schedule, and quality targets.

The role is mid-level to senior, requiring 7+ years of PM experience, a 4-year degree, and strong skills in budgeting, scheduling, procurement and Lean Construction.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, process piping).
• Ability to manage large, fast-paced construction projects.
• Strong financial management: budgeting, forecasting, change management.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience leading high-performing project teams.
• Solid understanding of scheduling, procurement, and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of assigned mechanical construction scopes from planning through closeout.
• Develop and execute project strategies prioritizing safety, quality, schedule, and client satisfaction.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, change orders, and cost reporting.
• Oversee procurement of major equipment and subcontracted work.
• Lead scheduling efforts with field leadership for milestones.
• Ensure RFIs, submittals, and turnover documentation are completed on time.
• Provide coaching and development for junior engineers.
• Represent Harder in owner and coordination meetings.
