Harder Mechanical is seeking an entry-level Field Engineer to support a large-scale data center project in rural Texas. You will work with project teams, field leadership, and stakeholders to deliver mechanical scopes on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Construction Management or related field, internship experience, and a passion for problem solving. This salaried role emphasizes growth in construction management and LEAN practices.

Qualifications

• Proven commitment to safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to review construction drawings and quantify scope.
• Strong problem-solving via collaboration with design engineers and owners.
• Monitor field progress and ensure work aligns with plans and specs.
• Engage in work sequence planning and package preparation.

Responsibilities

• Learn and promote Harder’s safety protocols.
• Review drawings; compile scope and quantities.
• Coordinate with field labor to meet safety, schedule and quality standards.
• Monitor construction to ensure adherence to plans.
• Prepare and monitor labor and cost estimates; track progress weekly.
• Organize project records in an effective document control system.
