Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors in Pasadena, TX is seeking a senior lead designer to supervise a team of designers and deliver complete mechanical and piping projects on time and within budget. You will act as a technical specialist on complex designs and guide junior staff.

Candidates should have 15+ years in mechanical/piping drafting and design, an associate degree in engineering technology or CAD, SPED certification preferred, and a strong track record with 2D AutoCAD and MicroStation.

Qualifications

• Requires 15+ years of mechanical/piping design experience.
• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or CAD drafting required.
• SPED certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and technical direction to a designers team and lead design efforts.
• Deliver complete mechanical and piping deliverables on time and within budget.
• Mentor less experienced staff and coordinate with discipline leads.
• Develop installation specifications and cost estimates for projects.
• Support startup activities and ensure design aligns with codes and standards.
