Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a lead mechanical/piping designer with 20+ years of experience to supervise a design team and deliver complex piping systems. You will guide technical work, coordinate with disciplines, and ensure project scope and budgets are met while mentoring junior staff.

Candidate should have an associate degree in engineering technology or CAD, SPED preferred, and be available for on-site work in California.

Qualifications

• Requires 20+ years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical/piping drafting and design.
• Associates degree in Engineering Technology or CAD is required.
• SPED certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide technical direction to a team of designers as lead designer.
• Deliver mechanical and piping deliverables on time and within budget.
• Provide mentoring and ensure quality through squad checks and design reviews.
