Job summary

Batchelor & Kimball is seeking a Senior Project Management professional to lead large-scale construction efforts. The role requires coordinating with field PMs, GCs, and owners to drive project success, manage pre-construction activities, and maintain budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or 10+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Construction Management, Construction Science, Mechanical Engineering, or similar degree highly preferred
• Minimum of 4 years leading large multi-million-dollar complex construction projects
• Strong leadership and project management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and consult with field project managers, general contractors (GCs) and owners to ensure project success
• Manage the pre-construction, preplanning, and construction project scheduling process
• Leverage relationships with GCs to grow the Batchelor & Kimball business
• Manage subcontractors to ensure project timelines and budget
• Take ownership and accountability for projects under their direction
• Solve complex problems relating to schedule and budget as part of the project team
• Review and approve project budgets and allocate resources
• Negotiate and create subcontractor contracts to benefit the project
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards
