Job summary

Batchelor & Kimball in North Carolina is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large construction projects from pre-construction through execution at our Arrowood site. You will coordinate with field PMs, GCs, and owners, manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality across complex multi-million-dollar endeavors.

The ideal candidate combines strong leadership, detailed scheduling, and robust cost control with the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of related experience
• Construction Management, Construction Science, Mechanical Engineering or similar degree highly preferred
• Minimum of 4 years leading large multi-million-dollar complex construction projects

Responsibilities

• Lead and consult with field project managers, GCs and owners to nurture successful relationships
• Manage pre-construction, preplanning, and construction scheduling with strong GC relations
• Oversee subcontractor management to ensure timelines and budgets
• Review and approve project budgets and allocate resources
• Negotiate and create subcontractor contracts
• Manage project finances including profitability and cash flow
• Provide leadership to construction crews and resolve design conflicts
• Lead submittals, RFIs and change orders; ensure safety compliance
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards
• Utilize Bluebeam and Procore to manage documents and workflows
