Stantec’s Buildings team seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer and Team Leader to guide the mechanical engineering group on diverse building projects. You will lead technical design and mentoring, ensuring high-quality outcomes in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

You will manage scopes, budgets, and schedules, perform field investigations, and deliver design solutions for HVAC and building systems while maintaining client satisfaction and project success.

Formación

• ABET-accredited mechanical engineering degree required or B.S. in mechanical engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is required; multi-state licensure is a plus.
• Minimum 12-15 years of professional building mechanical engineering experience on large or complex projects.
• Technical leadership or engineering management experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Mechanical Engineering Team, managing workload, project assignments, staffing, and resource planning.
• Conduct staff performance reviews and support career development and growth.
• Mentor junior and intermediate staff through project work, guidance, training, and coaching.
• Delegate work to engineering and production staff to meet budgets and schedules.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and design approaches.
