Job summary

Stantec0s Buildings team is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to contribute to advanced mechanical design for the built environment, including HVAC, piping, and plumbing. You will work with Revit and AutoCAD under the guidance of a senior engineer.

The role emphasizes collaboration across disciplines, field observations, and data-driven design decisions, with potential hybrid work and a pathway to growth within a global design leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor6s degree in Engineering required
• 3+ years related professional experience
• EIT/FE certification preferred
• Industry-specific co-op/internship experience preferred
• Must have valid driver0s license with clean MVR

Responsibilities

• Interprets drawings, codes and similar materials.
• Performs Revit and/or AutoCAD design for mechanical and plumbing disciplines.
• Under supervision, supports senior engineers and designers on project tasks.
• Collaborates with architectural, interior and other engineering disciplines for coordination.
• Performs field work and reports field observations.
• Performs basic calculations for mechanical components using standard software.
• Assists with engineering duties on projects of varying complexity.
• Gathers data to support design decisions.
