Job summary

Stantec’s Denver office is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to apply building mechanical engineering principles, deliver high-quality projects, and manage client relationships. You will contribute to project delivery standards, forecast workloads, and ensure financial performance while collaborating with other disciplines.

Bring strong experience with MEP design, project management, and knowledge of codes (IBC/IMC/IPC/IFC).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Professional Engineering license is preferred.
• PM certification, LEED AP credential, and familiarity with Design-Bid-Build/Design-Assist is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages projects and tasks within scope, complexity and revenue budget.
• Leads multi-discipline resources to meet project requirements on time and within budget.
• Mentors team members and ensures quality deliverables.
• Holds team members accountable for project deliverables.
• Ensures technical, contractual, schedule and client-service objectives are met.
• Applies mechanical engineering expertise to building projects.
• Acts as QC reviewer and delegates work to staff.
• Develops project proposals and client presentations.
• Maintains knowledge of technologies and industry trends.
