Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to guide the Mechanical team and lead the design and delivery of projects ranging from small renovations to large facilities.

You will represent work in client meetings, mentor junior staff, and help develop fees, schedules, and project scopes while ensuring compliance with codes and standards. The role spans multiple sectors, including science, industry, healthcare, and education, and is based in Cleveland, OH.

Qualifications

• 10 years of related experience designing Mechanical/HVAC systems with 5+ years in PM.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited school.
• PE license is a plus; PMP certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical team and oversee design and delivery of projects.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance.
• Interface with clients in meetings; develop scopes, fees, schedules.
• Coordinate with other disciplines; ensure codes and standards compliance.
• Evaluate systems and manage project scope, budget, and schedule.
