Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to guide the Mechanical group and deliver design for projects of varying complexity. You will lead client meetings, mentor junior staff, and drive technical guidance across the team.

You will manage scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating with other disciplines and pursuing new business opportunities within our Northeast Engineering practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years related experience in mechanical/HVAC design with PM experience.
• PE license is a plus; PMP desirable.
• Strong leadership and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the mechanical team on varied projects from design through execution.
• Develop project scope, schedules, budgets, and design approaches.
• Collaborate with clients, developers, and consultants for business development.
• Coordinate multiple disciplines and ensure adherence to codes and standards.
• Prepare and present project work in client meetings.
