Stantec's Buildings team in Houston seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead design of mechanical building systems on complex projects. You will mentor junior staff, ensure QAQC, and coordinate with project managers and other disciplines to deliver sustainable, high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities include leading engineering design, performing load calculations, energy modeling, and overseeing construction administration.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• 10+ years of engineering experience in industrial design and construction with a U.S. PE license.
• LEED AP preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead mechanical engineering and design on projects and serve as the engineer of record.
• Provide QAQC services in alignment with firm Quality Process Manual.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Design Managers/Project Engineers for deliverables and Basis of Design.
• Oversee load calculations, systems design, cross-discipline coordination, and signing and sealing of contract documents.
• Conduct LCCA Analysis.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in in-house continuing education programs.
• Coordinate with Department Head and Focus Leads for resource allocation.
• Manage Construction Administration phase including submittal review, RFI responses, and site visit proficiency.
• Strong working knowledge of Revit, including Revit Schedules and sequences of operation.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor.
