Job summary

Atlas Copco Airpower N.V. is seeking an experienced sales professional to own the mechanical joining domain and drive growth across key customers in North America. You will develop persuasive proposals, manage the pipeline, and collaborate with our Innovation Hub in Auburn Hills to deliver tailored solutions.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial technical sales, a bachelor’s degree, and hands-on experience with joining systems. Travel to customers and the Auburn Hills office is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of industrial, technical, or engineered product sales experience preferred.
• Experience with mechanical joining element sales/equipment, manufacturing, or industrial equipment sales is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with joining systems (Atlas Copco or similar equipment).
• Familiarity with joining technologies (SPR, FDS/FDF, Clinching) considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the expert on the customer’s joining process and their technical specifications.
• Act as the primary point of contact for IAS mechanical joining product lines and related mechanical joining elements to assist customers and ensure great customer experience.
• Develop and communicate persuasive sales proposals to customers to ensure their preference for IAS.
• Grow sales of products including rivets, mechanical joining elements, and corresponding mechanical joining equipment.
• Develop and execute strategic growth plans for key customers and emerging segments.
• Identify opportunities within key customers and focus on AI Infrastructure/Data Centers, Energy Storage, and General Industry.
