Job summary

Atlas Copco Group in Auburn Hills, MI seeks an experienced Industrial Sales professional to own the mechanical joining product lines and guide customer solutions. You will act as the primary contact for IAS joining products, develop persuasive proposals, and grow sales of rivets, joining elements, and equipment.

In this role you will build strategic plans for key customers, develop opportunities in AI infrastructure and energy storage sectors, and manage forecasts with a customer-focused,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field.
• 5+ years of industrial or engineered product sales experience.
• Experience selling mechanical joining elements advantageous.
• Understanding of joining processes and basic metallurgy fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with joining systems.

Responsibilities

• Be the expert on the customer’s joining process and their technical specifications.
• Act as primary point of contact for IAS mechanical joining product lines and related elements.
• Develop persuasive sales proposals to win customer preference for IAS.
• Grow sales of rivets, mechanical joining elements, and equipment.
• Develop and execute strategic growth plans for key customers.
• Identify opportunities within key customers and focus on AI Infra/Data Centers/Energy Storage.
• Build relationships with customers at engineering, procurement, operations and executive levels.
• Manage pipeline and provide accurate forecasts by month, quarter, and year.
• Collaborate with our Innovation Hub in Auburn Hills to deliver solutions.
• Monitor market trends and report to management on investment opportunities.
