Engineering Systems Inc. (ESi) seeks a senior mechanical engineer with 15+ years in consulting, failure analysis, and forensic investigations.

You will lead complex projects, supervise field and lab work, and prepare expert reports for legal and client audiences. Candidates should hold a PE license, a bachelor's in mechanical engineering (masters/PhD preferred), and demonstrate deep expertise in mechanics, fatigue, stress analysis, and machine design, including experience delivering expert

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in mechanical engineering consulting, design, or forensic investigation.
• Deep expertise in mechanics, stress analysis, fatigue, failure analysis, and machine design.
• Track record authoring technical reports and providing expert testimony is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and coordinates complex forensic investigations and multidisciplinary projects.
• Conducts field investigations of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Performs advanced engineering analysis using mechanics principles (stress, fatigue, etc.).
• Authors high-quality technical reports and expert opinions; reviews junior work.
• Provides expert testimony at deposition and trial and client presentations.
