Job summary

CCI Mechanical, LLC is seeking a Construction Estimator to join our mechanical team. The role focuses on detailed estimates for HVAC and plumbing projects, developing pricing models, and preparing bid proposals for project bids.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in mechanical estimating, strong reading of drawings, and the ability to collaborate with engineers and PMs. Travel to project sites may be required; Holt, FL office location, with overnight stays possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in mechanical estimating across federal, commercial and medical sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred; experience considered.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with independent project work ability.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with MS Office; ProEst or similar estimating software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop pricing models and estimate costs for mechanical HVAC and plumbing projects.
• Prepare bid proposals and review subcontractor proposals for scope coverage.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to define project scope.
• Analyze plans and specs to create detailed cost estimates.
• Communicate pricing and risk mitigation strategies to stakeholders.
