Job summary

Delta ModTech is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead our mechanical engineering team on-site. You will drive robust, scalable design practices for custom converting, packaging, and coating machinery, while advancing DFM and cost-conscious solutions.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in mechanical design and 3+ years in leadership, with strong CAD skills and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in custom machinery, automation, or capital equipment.
• 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Strong background in machine design, DFM and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with engineering analysis (FEA and/or hand calculations).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of mechanical engineers with varying levels of experience.
• Drive design excellence, DFМ, and proactive problem solving across projects.
• Own mechanical engineering schedule performance and resource planning.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and design reviews for high‑risk systems.
• Collaborate with project management, operations, and leadership on scope, budgets, and risk.
