Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 9+ years in mechanical engineering, or 7+ years with graduate degree, or 13+ years without degree.
• Experience using CAD software (Solid Edge, SolidWorks, NX) and applying GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001 quality systems and tolerance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and designers.
• Staffing, workforce planning, and performance management.
• Drive design decisions across new product development and legacy support.
• Define and improve development processes and best practices.
• Ensure design integrity, product performance, and regulatory compliance.
• Support production by troubleshooting issues and implementing design updates.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and quality to resolve nonconformances and drive corrective actions.
