Qualifications

• BS degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• 4+ years related engineering experience.
• CAD experience with Creo or SolidWorks.
• Expertise in GD&T.
• Experience with design for manufacturing and testing of aerospace parts.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% and U.S. citizenship for security clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute development of 3D TDPs with a cross-functional engineering team for part procurement and manufacturing.
• Conduct analyses of part production processes, control plans, schedules, and methods.
• Participate in supplier audits for manufacturing capabilities and adherence to design requirements.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineers on design/manufacturing/procurement considerations.
• Drive technical execution of Industry 4.0 / Digital Factory / Model-based Enterprise initiatives.
• Prepare documentation and presentation of technical data, analyses, and reports.
• Review manufacturing instructions to identify efficiency improvements.
• Develop documentation for design and manufacturing process strategy and standardization.
• Work with suppliers to resolve engineering/manufacturing feasibility questions in real time.
• Support customer feedback loops to drive improvements.
• Review part production results to verify design vs. manufactured compliance.
• Collaborate with project/program management and stakeholders to meet milestones.
