Symbotic is seeking a highly skilled mechanical engineer to join our R&D Hardware Engineering team. You’ll contribute to the conceptualization, prototyping, detailed design, and commercial release of complex electromechanical systems for automated material handling.

Strong hands-on practice and clear communication across teams are essential. You’ll work on integrated hardware, validate designs with SolidWorks and FEAs, collaborate with EE/Controls, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, and guide

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of hands-on design experience.
• Experience with industrial robotics, automation, and material handling preferred.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks required or strongly desired.
• Experience using FEA tools (SolidWorks Simulation or ANSYS) desired.

Responsabilités

• Invent elegant, reliable hardware solutions for integrated systems.
• Contribute to conception, prototyping, design, and validation of electromechanical systems using SolidWorks.
• Perform feasibility studies and quantitative trade analyses.
• Create BOMs, ECNs, and manage documentation in Teamcenter PLM.
• Collaborate with EE/Controls, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams.
