Job summary

Symbotic is seeking a Senior Manager, Electrical Engineering Design to lead the Electrical Engineering – Bot Hardware team. You will guide the PCB-based electronics, harnesses, and electrical integration powering our robotic systems, delivering reliable hardware at scale.

Lead multi‑program initiatives across a growing product portfolio, mentor senior engineers, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and drive technology adoption to production, with travel up to 10–15% depending on program

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership of electrical design teams for robotics or similar.
• Deep hands-on experience with PCBAs, cables, harnesses, and system integration.
• Strong knowledge of power integrity and signal integrity in hardware.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop a world-class electrical design team with engaging leadership.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership from concepts to production and validation.
• Lead PCBAs, cables, harnesses, and interfaces for power, sensing, compute, and control.
• Drive multiple complex programs, set priorities, and maintain a high-performing team.
• Drive adoption of new technologies and manufacturability improvements.
• Review schematics and PCB layouts, guiding power/signal integrity and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contract manufacturers; travel 10–15%.
