Goldbelt, Inc. seeks a Senior Engineer (Mechanical) to provide mechanical and HVAC engineering support to DOJ/BOP facilities stakeholders. This role emphasizes technical analyses, document reviews, and recommendations to enable government decision-making.

The position is advisory and does not approve designs or certify compliance. Candidates should hold a PE or RA license, a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, and at least seven years of progressive mechanical/HVAC experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a PE or RA certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive mechanical/HVAC engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain/maintain DOJ/BOP suitability and facility access.
• Primarily remote work with occasional travel to DOJ/BOP sites/meetings.
• Participate in virtual design reviews and time-sensitive technical comment cycles.

Responsabilités

• Review mechanical/HVAC design documents, calculations, and submittals for completeness and alignment with Government requirements.
• Support facility condition assessments by evaluating mechanical systems documentation and drafting corrective actions.
• Perform HVAC performance, ventilation, energy efficiency, and indoor air quality analyses; document findings for Government review.
• Develop equipment schedules, sequences of operations, and options analyses to support Government evaluation.
• Draft technical inputs for Statements of Work, performance requirements, and evaluation factors.
• Coordinate with architectural and other engineers to identify interfaces and integration issues.
• Support commissioning and closeout documentation reviews and deficiency tracking.
• Prepare technical briefings and executive summaries for Government stakeholders.
