Burns & McDonnell is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead design teams across a variety of facilities, from concept through construction. You will prepare equipment specs, review vendor drawings, and coordinate with clients, disciplines, and field teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.

The role emphasizes EPC project experience, strong knowledge of mechanical codes, and a track record of client relationship building. 25% travel is expected; on-site collaboration is common.

Qualificações

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• 7 years of mechanical engineering experience; EPC project experience preferred.
• Master's degree in mechanical engineering; FE exam completed preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ASME/ANSI/API/NACE codes for equipment design.
• Strong CAD/analysis capability; experience with large projects.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsabilidades

• Lead mechanical design project teams from concept through design completion.
• Prepare equipment specifications, data sheets, RFQs, technical bid summaries and purchase recommendations.
• Review vendor drawings and interface with suppliers and other disciplines.
• Contribute to project scheduling, scope, budget and staffing planning.
• Perform QA/QC on drawings and construction documentation.
• Coordinate field inspections and testing of mechanical systems.
• Develop cost proposals and assist with project budgets.
