Burns & McDonnell seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to lead civil design project teams across power, process, healthcare, and industrial facilities. You will drive design from concept to construction, mentor engineers, and ensure code-compliant, constructible solutions.

Responsibilities include proposal development, budgeting, client coordination, reviewing drawings, and delivering high-quality designs. Travel is required; PE license preferred and EPC experience valued.

Qualificações

• ABET-accredited bachelor degree in Civil Engineering with 7 years of civil engineering experience; EPC project experience preferred.
• ABET-accredited bachelor degree in Civil Engineering Technology with FE exam and 7 years civil engineering experience; EPC preferred.
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering with 6 years civil engineering experience; EPC project experience preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Strong knowledge of standard engineering techniques and procedures; hands-on experience with design software.

Responsabilidades

• Lead civil design from conceptual phase through design completion for project needs and requirements.
• Prepare civil equipment specs, RFQs, technical bid summaries, and purchase recommendations.
• Review civil vendor drawings and interface with suppliers, clients, and other disciplines.
• Contribute to project scheduling, scope, budget, staffing, and construction planning; manage change orders.
• Perform QA/QC of drawings, ensure constructability, and supervise field inspections and testing.
• Lead project budget creation and cost estimates; deliver technical reports for clients.
• Build relationships with clients and contractors and pursue new business opportunities.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure adherence to safety and company standards.
