Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer - Process Systems to support TOS II at Arnold AFB in Manchester, TN. You will lead design efforts for mass and heat transfer systems, mentor engineers, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team on a multi-year program.

The role requires a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, 8+ years of experience, and the ability to obtain an active DoD security clearance. Strong Autodesk Inventor CAD skills and GD&T knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. in mechanical engineering from an accredited college; 8+ years designing complete process systems.
• Ability to obtain active DoD security clearance and access AEDC networks.
• U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs for mass and heat transfer systems including steam, air, fuel, hydraulics, coolants, evacuation systems, pumps, and heat exchangers.
• Provide hydraulic, thermal, or other analysis with development of schematics, layouts, and procurement packages.
• Independently perform complex analysis and design; lead reviews and mentor engineers.
• Coordinate with team to produce complete design packages and communicate details to stakeholders.
• Serve as an expert on Design Engineering execution for a multi-year project.
