Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) is seeking a Mid-Career Mechanical Engineer to support AEDC at Arnold AFB, TN. You will design and analyze complete process systems, lead teams, review designs, and mentor junior staff, ensuring compliance with codes and project requirements.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in process systems design (pumps, valves, heat exchangers, piping), CAD with Inventor, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. This is a full-time, exempt role based at Arnold AFB.

Formación

• MS/BS degree in mechanical engineering with 5+ years in process systems design (pumps, valves, heat exchangers, piping).
• Experience leading small to mid-size teams and performing complex design analyses.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance and access AEDC networks.

Responsabilidades

• Develop designs for mass and heat transfer systems: steam, air, hydraulics, coolants, pumps, heat exchangers.
• Prepare calculations, schematics, layout drawings, and procurement packages for equipment.
• Lead design reviews and mentor junior engineers on complex analysis tasks.
