Job summary

SCRAM Systems in Denver, CO is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design new portable electronics products and improve existing ones, collaborating with mechanical and electrical engineers, technicians, manufacturing, and quality teams.

You will generate 3D CAD with SolidWorks, perform tolerancing and design analysis, drive long-term technical vision, and mentor the team while coordinating across departments to align with business goals.

Qualifications

• Must be a current user of SolidWorks CAD software.
• FEA software experience is desirable.
• Familiarity with PDM Vault for CAD data management is a plus.
• Extensive experience with injection molded plastic part design.
• GD&T proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design new products and improve current products in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Generate 3D CAD designs and 2D drawings using SolidWorks.
• Drive technical strategy and long-term vision for mechanical engineering areas.
• Coordinate across multiple teams and align with business goals.
• Ensure manufacturability, cost targets and regulatory compliance.
