Job summary

SCRAM Systems seeks a senior electronics/firmware engineer to design and enhance products, adopting new technologies to improve reliability and add features. You will contribute to defining product requirements and project plans, guiding cross-functional teams through development and validation cycles.

Responsibilities include design, testing, prototyping, and production support while ensuring compliance with standards and driving cost reductions and performance gains.

Responsibilities

• Architect, Design, Implement and Test, electronics and firmware on assigned projects.
• Participate in creating technical Product Requirements from Marketing requirements.
• Participate in creating Project Plans including Project Schedules with milestones.
• Apply Product Development Process and design tools across electronics and firmware.
• Innovate to improve product performance and reduce costs and time.
• Use rapid prototype techniques for market-validation mock-ups.
• Provide engineering input to Sales, Marketing and Customer Service.
• Support Production with manufacturability improvements and supplier qualification.
• Adhere to regulatory standards (FCC, UL, CE, IC, etc.) and ensure certifications.
• Continuously upgrade skills through training and industry events.
