Job summary
SCRAM Systems in Denver and Colorado Springs area is seeking a Quality Engineer Team Lead on-site at our Littleton manufacturing facility. You will drive product and process quality initiatives, mentoring inspectors and technicians while leading corrective actions and root cause analyses to improve reliability and efficiency.
The role requires 7+ years in engineering/quality within manufacturing, a BS in engineering, and Six Sigma belts; ISO experience and Lean tools are highly valued.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
- Six Sigma certification (SSGB/SSBB) preferred, CQE desirable.
- Minimum of 7+ years in engineering or quality in manufacturing.
- Experience with ISO standards and supplier development.
Responsibilities
- Lead quality initiatives to improve processes, reduce costs, and ensure compliance.
- Direct a team of inspectors and technicians, mentoring and developing staff.
- Coach teams in quality methodologies and problem solving.
- Conduct root cause analyses and lead corrective actions.
- Coordinate product reliability testing with design and manufacturing teams.
- Support new product development to embed quality from the start.
- Utilize statistical methods to monitor trends and drive improvements.
