Job summary

Crystal Group is seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer to design, develop, and verify mechanical components for high-performance electronics. You will lead small project groups, mentor junior staff, and ensure producibility and compliance with specifications.

Responsibilities include supporting the systems team, providing technical assistance during pilot builds, and maintaining advanced knowledge of design tools and machining processes to deliver reliable, robust solutions in harsh environments.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Person (US Citizen, permanent resident or protected status).
• AS degree in mechanical engineering with 5+ years of design experience or 8+ years without degree.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and verify mechanical components including sheet-metal and machined parts.
• Lead small project groups and mentor department staff.
• Review drawings to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
• Provide technical assistance for build and testing of new products and systems.
• Support cross-functional teams to address customer requirements.
