Job summary

Hargrove seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer in South Carolina to lead complex mechanical design tasks, perform stress analyses, develop piping and material specs, and prepare construction drawings and estimates. Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Professional Engineer registration is highly preferred.
• 6+ years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge of design standards and codes; material specifications; piping design and procurement; HVAC and piping systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform stress analysis, piping estimates, and material take-offs for project scopes.
• Develop conceptual layouts and detail designs for construction.
• Review vendor drawings and ensure conformance to specs and codes.
• Provide field support during startups and assist drafting/engineering teams.
