Job summary

Protingent Staffing seeks a Mechanical Engineer 4 for NSSS Vessels & Structures. The role involves design and stress analysis of pressure vessels and primary supports, following ASME III and NRC guidelines. You will mentor staff and lead the NSSS Component Analysis Group while ensuring QA compliance.

Requirements include a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, 10+ years of experience with ANSYS, and preferably a P.E. certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 10+ years of full-time relevant experience with ANSYS stress analysis.
• P.E. certification preferred.
• DOE 10 CFR Part 810 eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Perform design and stress analyses of pressure vessels and primary equipment supports per ASME BPVC Section III.
• Lead NSSS Component Analysis Group; mentor staff and provide technical direction.
• Ensure compliance with ASME NQA-1 QA requirements and NRC guidelines.
• Coordinate with disciplines to resolve technical problems and optimize designs.
