Job summary

Nordmin Engineering Usa Inc in Salt Lake City, Utah is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our multidisciplinary project teams. You will be responsible for preparing drawings, designs, and maintaining client communications throughout project lifecycles.

You will specify devices, develop P&ID in Plant 3D, prepare interconnection diagrams, and assist in procurement, installation, and commissioning as part of a broader project documentation effort.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program (or evaluated equivalent).
• Excellent communication and collaboration with clients, vendors and teams.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
• Experience with pulp/mining processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drawings and designs and communicate with clients and project teams.
• Create piping and instrumentation diagrams in Plant 3D or similar software.
• Prepare interconnection diagrams and documentation for procurement and installation.
• Assist in project documentation, BOMs, scopes of work, and control narratives.
• Support start-up, commissioning, and construction phases.
