Nordmin Engineering Usa Inc in Utah is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (Power) to lead an electrical design team on mining, energy and industrial projects. You will mentor engineers, coordinate with management, and deliver designs from concept through construction.

The role requires a B.S./B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited), 10+ years’ experience, and P.E. licensure or path to licensure, with strong English communication and the ability to travel about 10% of the time.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S./B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering required.
• 10+ years in electrical power systems design and management.
• Licensed P.E. in the United States or ability to obtain licensure.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Proven design team leadership and ability to work independently.
• Excellent organizational and time management in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical power and multidisciplinary teams for mining, energy, and industrial projects.
• Estimate hours, deliverables, resources and develop project schedules.
• Coordinate with Electrical Department management on strategic requirements and staffing.
• Mentor junior staff on high/medium voltage systems, protection and grounding.
• Develop electrical power designs for heavy industrial and energy sectors.
• Write and review technical specifications and proposals.
• Evaluate equipment submissions and make recommendations.
• Ensure cross-disciplinary communication with project managers and management.
• Conduct site visits and client coordination; travel ~10%.
