Woolpert seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Coral Gables, FL to lead HVAC and plumbing design on complex projects. The role supports in-person or hybrid work and requires PE licensure with a track record of leadership.

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS or MS, 10+ years of related experience, and proficiency in Revit, Trane Trace 3D Plus, COMcheck, EnergyGauge, and BMS systems. Some travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or MS in a related field with 10+ years of experience.
• PE licensure is required.
• 3+ years leading engineering projects.
• Experience with complex HVAC systems and energy modelling.
• Proficiency in Revit 3D modelling and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical HVAC and plumbing design from concept to construction documents.
• Perform heat load calculations and QA/QC reviews for deliverables.
• Develop models, plans, drawings, and details per standards.
• Utilize energy modelling tools including COMcheck and EnergyGauge.
• Mentor staff and contribute to internal training when needed.
