Job summary

Weston & Sampson is seeking a mid-career Mechanical Engineer to join our Mechanical HVAC and Plumbing team in New England offices. You will contribute to design and project execution for diverse facilities, ranging from private to municipal sectors, with opportunity to take on more responsibility.

Requirements include a BS in Mechanical Engineering, PE or ability to obtain, 5+ years of relevant experience, strong communication, and proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering required.
• PE license or ability to obtain PE in any US state.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant plumbing, fire protection, mechanical design or energy experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to stay organized with multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Engineering and design documentation for new and renovation projects across various sectors.
• Design will include field investigation, shop drawing review, reports and contract drawings.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, sub-consultants, utilities, vendors and clients.
• Work independently and as part of a multidiscipline team.
