Job summary

Blattner seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer - Gas Power Generation to lead advanced design, analysis, and technical oversight across projects. You will mentor junior staff, manage multiple concurrent programs, and ensure design quality and schedule conformance from conception through construction.

Responsibilities include leading lifecycle phases, pre-bid reviews, and coordination with Owners and EOR teams to drive safe, economical, and compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years progressive engineering or supervisory experience in related fields.
• PE license preferred with emphasis on mechanical engineering.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Experience with utility-scale equipment and applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead across the engineering lifecycle with emphasis on schedule conformance and financial impact.
• Support pre-bid assessments and constructability reviews.
• Ensure designs comply with codes, owner contracts, and practices.
• Deliver economical solutions meeting project requirements.
• Develop Basis of Design and manage RFIs for projects.
