Blattner Company is expanding its energy construction leadership to gas power generation. The Senior Estimator will lead procurement and estimating, ensure bid accuracy and compliance, and contribute to securing new project awards through effective negotiation and strong presentations.

This role supports end-to-end hybrid energy solutions and growth across the business. The role emphasizes development of cost data, pre-bid planning, and mentoring junior staff, with a focus on high-quality bids

Qualifications

• Four-year construction or engineering degree with five to seven years of experience as an Estimator.
• Experience with Gas Powered Generation or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Identify and include cost for safety requirements (training, PPE) in bids.
• Identify and account for JHA risks in estimates.
• Select and manage subcontractors meeting risk criteria.
• Ensure bid quality and compliance using estimating software.
